Gary, I know many people have said that they are very painful. I hope you feel better soon.

I have heard they are not fun, get well soon.

I've had them twice in my life. Just shoot me now!!!

I've had them too many times. Pain is right up there with a fractured pelvis. ;)

Best thing I got for the pain was a shot of toradol in the er. Amazing stuff. No buzz like some drugs but the kidney pain just disappeared, like nothing was wrong at all. Hope you're all better now or at least soon.

So...does that mean you had/ or are a pain in the "er" ?

Garyb 06-04-2012 07:52 PM

I passed it when i got home from the ER. They gave me a funnel like thing with a screen in it to catch it in. I actually heard it hit the thing but it was tiny. I just stared at it for while thinking how could that tiny thing cause so much pain.
Anyway i'm glad thats over and thanks for all the well wishes.

How is that administered? Is it a real needle in the ear ?
