Nice list, about half of what you have on your list you can get at your local parts house and say shipping and probably get them to give you a discount. Don't be afraid to ask and believe me cash talks. I have built a relationship with a local vendor and every time I walk in I get a 10% discount. I purchased all my wheel cyclinders, brake springs and a few other parts local. On the front how are your dust shields and calipher brackets? I didn't see them on your list.

Ray

i went to a few stores around me and told them "listen i am building a 69 chevelle and i am going to need a lot of parts. I will stay loyal to your store to by parts for my car if you can help me out in anyway as far as giving me a discount you will always get my orders, are you willing to agree to that?"

after getting turned down by about 4 stores i walked into the local Napa and said the same speech and the manager looked at me and smiled and said to me
"anything to restore a classic car but you have to do us one favor!"

i am thinking in my head o man i need to put napa stickers on it and so on. so i asked "Ok so what is the favor?"

"when its built and back on the road you have to stop here at the store give us all rides in the car and when we all get a turn you have to do a nice smoky burn out"

I lol'ed and said "deal" ordered my first set of parts at that point and about to call them in 10 mins to order the rest of my brake system so i can finally put it back down on all 4s so ray you had it right!! :)

Way to go Ray !

And Shaun, I am really happy that you found a merchant that is willing to work with you, and I really think the trade off is well worth it.
