WOO HOO!!!! Now I'm back on track.
With the shop getting busy and one bad deal after another for parts for the Chevelle, I finally got to working on it today.
I made a deal the other day on a new engine and trans for it. I ended up with a nasty 327 and TH350 trans for it. The engine is reported to put out near 500 horse power. There's a long list of goodies inside it. Same with the transmission. Today I pulled the front clip off to get the firewall and engine bay ready for the new power plant. I can NOT WAIT to finally hear this thing run! I hope to have some pictures soon and hear it run this week. YEAH!!!!!!! |
WOO HOO is right. So glad to hear things are moving forward for you Alan.

Some eye candy for everyone. Keep in mind this is almost identical to the one I had 20 years ago. When I get this car done, every time I get in it, it'll be 1991 all over again.
I had more time than money back then. I got a little silly when I detailed it. I swore I wasn't going to do it again, but I just couldn't help myself. I just stood back and smiled for a while after I got it together this far. I can't wait to get the front end back on and in color. http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...leframe005.jpg Here's how the engine will look... http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...hevelle001.jpg |
