New to Forum - Forever Chevelle lover!

Hello all!
Just found this site and thought I should expand my knowledge of the vehicle I love so much with some Chevelle enthusiasts.

Been on a Quest for the past 12 years (but now finally scraping up some bucks) to buy a 70 Chevelle... prefer no rust and a BB but doesn't need to mint or an SS. I want to put my touches in it. Floor staple shifter, or manual, black seats ... I do love the SS looks though

Oh I from Calgary Alberta Canada

Welcome from Georgia ,what is your price range on a Chevelle ? We may be able to help you find your dream car .

I should type slower... the above intro make me sounds a little slow haha...

My prefered price range would be in the 15-20K, but being in Western Canada, that seems impossible, searching across Canada I can find a few (mostly Eastern 2000km away) and for over 30K.
I don't know what it would take to bring across the US border, but would enjoy the cruise from stateside home if I knew I could find a good one that would be worth the fly down to get it.

Im not a body guy so having a straight no rust, with Paint is a must.
Electrical, interior motor would be ideal - I would like to drive it!
15-20 I mentioned would have to be a done car, with minor things needed. Price would have to be lower is there was major or no interior, motor etc

Welcome Dan. Glad to have you here. I think that flash knows someone personally that has great connections where it comes to finding Chevelles. Hope your search is successful.

Welcome, good luck on your quest. I picked up a rust free SS 396, 4 spd, 3.73 posi for 13K 8 years ago. It was in pieces but all there, all I had to do was put it back together. I've since replaced the interior and the 396 with a 454 and other things. It could use a paint job but it's a pretty clean car. Prices have definitely gone up but if you're not looking for a true SS I think you can find what you want, it just may take awhile.

Welcome from a 70 owner. I also purchased my car in boxes and took about 7 years to have it almost finished. Just got it on the the road in July. Good luck on your search.

WOW! That's gorgeous! Seems like the wait paid off! I love that color - but for me I think I'll go for black int, as I can't keep white interiors white! lol

also looks like you used the same Allan Block top caps as me, in pic 25. lol
