Holiday lights
Did anyone put up any lights this year? Or did you make any gifts for the family?

That's good stuff. To answer the questions. Yes, ...and yes.
We actually had a discussion (one of my daughters and I ) about the lights. I too, only put up an abbreviated display. She asked why I wasn't putting up more and I just looked at her and said, "Because it's a lot of work!" :D I was contracted to paint a sign for a relative's garage and I have to fabricate my wife's present tomorrow. I'm not going to post any pictures until after Christmas because I don't know which sites they frequent. :D |
Ray, that stuff you made is beautiful. As far as the lights, we didn't put any up this year. We actually don't have our tree up, we have a picture on the wall that my daughter drew. The reason that we didn't put up our tree is because we recently adopted 2 kittens and I know we had tinsel on our artificial tree last year and I don't want to take any chances with the new kittens. Are my kids bummed, yeah but I am bummed too. But I think it is the smartest thing to do and next year we will be back to normal.

i didn't go to crazy this year because of the new promotion it sucked up all of my time but here is what i got

We did lots of lights as usual and I made Hot Wheels decorations for one of the younger group homes for foster boys and they are coming over later today and we will give them out.Ray ,I love the pics ,espwcially the snow man .
Shaun, your lights are beautiful but I especially like the pic of your daughter in the Christmas spirit as thats to me what its all about. |
