Will these wheels fit my 69?
 

I'm looking at buying this set of American racing torque thrust 2's. Here's the ad http://southcoast.craigslist.org/pts/3575061536.html

And here's the tires specs I got from when we emailed. The chrome is excellent, these were on my *perfect 55 Chevy , never seen snow or rain, always stored inside. Tire size rear 225/45/18 front 245/40/17 **Michelin Pilot Sport AS

If I were to buy these and put them on my 69 will I experience any rubbing issues anywhere? Thanks

Jay are you sure on those sizes? The ad says they're all 18" wheels/tires.

The key question is what is the backspace on the wheels? Thats what you also need to know.

That's what he sent me but I'm going to check and ask. I'll be sure to ask about the backspace too.

They were sold yesterday at 5oclock:( I think I found another nice set tho on eBay.
