Yes. Welcome to the site! I always loved those '68's. What plans do you have? Does your screen name have anything to do with them? :D

plans were originally to clone ss the car as i have a 396 on a stand in the shop, also picked up a muncie m21 from a 69 chevelle, but now today aquired a 427 that appears to be a 425hp head castings are 3964291 and could not see the block casting but got id# appears to be T0320LD i can not reference this id so when i pick it up i will look closer

Howdy and welcome.
You can look up the casting numbers on the web. That casting head number you gave is for a 69-70 Big Block, 396, 402, 427 and 454. Rectangular closed port with 109 CC chambers. Another sight has them as 69-72 and for crate motors from 70-72. Motor was built in Tonawanda, 03=March, 20=20, LD is 1969 Chevelle 427, 425 HP manual trans, special high performance. http://www.nastyz28.com/chevy-engine-code-stampings.php |
