Let the spring cleaning begin!
Over the past few months I've let this place go to heck in a hand basket. I have officially had enough!
Yesterday, I took 1,000 pounds of scrap metal to the recycler. Today I just paid to have 16 junk tires hauled off and got rid of my waste oil. (the shop down the street has a waste oil heater) I also started burning a good bit of scrap wood that was left over from various projects. I can actually see the ground next to the shop! I'm not done, though. I have a few more things to scrap out/sell, and some projects to finish. I want to get down to having the Chevelle and ONE project at a time on the property. I can't stand clutter and can't believe I let it go this long. The place is starting to shape up again. |
I need to get started on purging some scrap and cleaning my shop out again ,congrats on getting it done .

Past two days been working on picking up all the parts laying around in my shop...and installing them back into the '72 wagon. Slow but sure making progress...

Same here. I need to do some yard cleaning. Now that the snow is gone, all the crap in the yard is bothering me. I live on a corner and it seems like all year long people think that we are the local trash can. And my son takes out the trash, well the side of my garage is messy. I think he doesn't think we notice, but I do. He is not gonna like the "spring clean up" this year. Just glad I don't have 1,000 lbs of scrap metal to get rid of.
