trying to find a chevelle
 

I'm trying to locate my uncles old 66 chevelle vin#138176f115553. It was purchased new in Buffalo NY and the last I heard it was used as a drag car.

Welcome awmeller. It is hard when you are looking for a particular car like you are. Have you done a VIN search ?

A Western NY car?
Probably rusted up to the door handles 30 years ago...
Know any one in the local PD that would run the VIN thru their computer?

If it was a drag car, you have a prayer of it still being around. I don't know many drag cars that sit out year 'round and are driven in the winter time on salty roads.
