Hoping this whole George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin thing wil be over soon. Not sure how many of you see it on the news in your neck of the woods. I live one town over from where it all went down. I am seriously sick and tired of hearing about it.

I am also sick to my stomach of all the racist idiots on both sides of the fence. The latest is that the black panthers are coming to town, and are going to "burn down whitey's neighborhood." I hope it is all talk, otherwise I see a blood bath on the horizon. The gun laws are pretty lax here, and gun ownership is fairly high per capita. Things will get ugly quick.

I follow it off and on ,its a terrible mess .Be careful down there ,its a shame everything has to be racially dividing .It looks like by now we could live together peacefully regardless of race .

You would think so but people are being killed because of their religion. Not so much here but it's happening. If you can't accept somebody with a different religion, well a different race, that's just too big a hurdle to get over. World is full of idiots.

I happened to be in a waiting room today and they were talking about what went on in the courtroom. The receptionist asked me what I thought. I told her that I didn't know enough about what went on, if I had watched the trial I would have been able to make an informed decision.

No matter what the Jury decides (just curious why they only have 6 members on the Jury) someone is not going to be happy. And I just hope that no one gets hurt in the aftermath. Stay safe my friend.

Hate to say it, but it appears like it is time to lock and load. The stupid seems to be spreading like wildfire. This is a bad situation, I think there will be riots no matter what way the jury decides.

The animals will be tearing stuff up, according to some of the articles. They will be in for a surprise if they think whitey is going to sit by passively here.

Just read about it in the morning paper. I didn't follow the trial that closely but seemed there was enough reasonable doubt to prevent a murder conviction.

I'm done with it all. I didn't do it. It wasn't a relative of mine that did it. It wasn't my kid harmed. Therefore I have NO opinion about it. I don't think it was murder, and I don't think it self defense. Again, I have NO opinion on the subject.

People should just mind their own business. Let the involved worry about justice. It just turns into a crap sandwich when others with an agenda try to force their opinion on the situation. Get on with your lives people. Let it go.

(This was more directed to the demonstrators than anyone here)

Cops took 42 days to arrest Zimmerman. They knew the "murder" evidence was weak and only did finally make an arrest because of public pressure.
IMO, the verdict is correct. Reasonable doubt...
