HO insurance cancelled

Just got a letter from my home owners ins company.
Im cancelled as of 9/15.
The reason....car on jack stands in driveway.
WTF is that shit....its suposed to be on jack stands for safety.
Perhaps i should work on my car in the street.!!!
My agent will get a call on monday morning.
And here i was thinking its about the pistol range in the back yard.
...look out they are comming for our cars and guns.

Wow... that's nuts! What city/state do you reside in?

I agree that is nuts. I know our insurance company has been around lately taking pictures of both houses we own. Our beach house is a mess, makes me wonder if they will cancel our insurance on it.

My home owners insurance once threatened to cancel my policy because the house was 2 different colors .I had just enclosed a carport and had the new addition primed white until I could paint the whole house ,my agent told me to prime what could be seen from the road white and I would be good.

That would have gotten me to change insurance companies, that's crazy.

Getting home owners insurance in FL is tough, all those hurricanes about 10 years ago made it even worse.

Flash - that's nuts! Not sure how they could even do that legally.

I think insurance companys write their rules as they go ,Once I finished my addition I changed companys and got a better rate .

OMG..this is nuts ! I can't believe that they can do that. I know that with our HO company, if you have 3 claims within 5 yrs, they have the right to cancel the policy. The policy that I have was written 15 yrs ago and is a total replacement policy. They don't write the policy that I have anymore so we don't plan on changing companies, unless we were to lose the policy.
