Which Control Arm Bushing?

Since I ordered those C5 spindles and had the old ones off I decided to go ahead and replace the ball joints and control arm bushing since they have the factory ones still in there. My question is what type should I go with? I search the forum but didn't really see a whole lot. I'd kinda like to use the poly bushing but didn't know if the new ones still squeak like the old ones did. The rubber ones seem like they would have a lot of deflection whereas the poly ones wouldn't. I will prolly just use the car for normal driving but I like the feel of a tight (not rough riding) suspension. Anyone have any experience with the poly vs rubber?

Global West deralum bushings, best compromise IMHO.

That's pretty cool. The plant I work at actually makes the delrin for these bushing and for a bunch of other things too. Those things are pretty pricey for what they are. They look nice, but I can't find the right ones for my car. I have the oval rear lower bushing and it looks like they only have the round.

Another possible option is the tubular arms on eBay. A few of my friends have used them with zero issues. The welds are nice and they look well-built.

energy suspension...or perhaps prothane.
some bushings come with the cans...some dont.
if you need to use the old cans...burn out the rubber with a map torch.
tack welding the old cans to the arms is somtimes needed.
Dont forget to use the lube that comes with the bushings.
WD40 is a sure way to get squeeks.

Energy suspension poly bushing is what I have up front. I went with the black ones to keep the factory look.
