Dragged a 76' Malibu Classic home today...
My parents bought it, 56,xxx miles - rust free. It was one owner, unmolested. Looks like one repaint. Low option car, doesn't even have a clock! Basically: power steering and brakes, am/fm radio, rear defroster, 350 2bbl/th350.
You know the rules here ,WHERE ARE THE PICS ? Cant wait to see it ,what are your plans for it ?
Photobucket + my phone = drama. Having trouble trying to get them to upload.
Plans, leave it alone. It runs and drives like a low mile car should. I am going to sell my mother's truck for them. And she is going to DD this car for a few more years until she retires. |
That will be a cool daily driver .
Had a 4 door version in an ugly green color back in the day as a daily driver. 400 4bl car. Ran real well, just ugly color IMHO. Plenty of room inside though.
This car is a dark green, almost black. The interior is buck skin. I wish this one was a 400 4bbl. It has an anemic 145 HP 350 2bbl, could be worse... 250ci 6cyl or the 2bbl 305.

Hubby has been looking at a late 70's Malibu Wagon here. Might have to go and check it out.
G body? (78' or newer)
I like the 78 and newer wagons as well as the older ones ,I looked for a nice one for quite a while but realized I had too many toys.
OK John, I think I fixed the problem, here goes...
