alternative to factory acc pedal
 

I have a 67 chevelle that has a broken accelerator pedal. The studs are not on the floor to mount the pedal factory style. I am looking for an alternative to the factory setup. Does anyone have any ideas on this or have done this mod. I have seen the lokar aftermarket pedals, but going that way seems awfully expensive. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have a buddy that used the bottom of a IRON for his rat rod....looks cool but maybe not on a Chevelle. He also changed all of his knobs to hollowed out spark plugs.

You can buy new ball studs and screw them back into the floor if you want the factory pedal style. I might even have some laying around. I switched mine over to the lokar cable setup a couple years ago.

thanks for the replies. I am gonna go with the Lokar setup, because I am not concerned about keeping the factory style. I have to rebuild my tranny so I will do all that together when I get the coin to do so.
