Feeling Helpless

Just got word this morning at 3am that my daughter was in a car accident in Orando Florida. She was 3 minutes from home when a person came flying out of a parking lot and T boned her on the right side of her SUV. Hit toward the back wheel area, took the rear axle off it and spun it around a couple of time and all the air bags deployed. Her Onstar dial 911. He or she took off from the scene. She is in the hospital, but been told she is ok, but will keep her overnight since she is 7 months pregnant.

Hit and run in Orlando? Hate to say it, but no surprise there. :( Glad she was driving a larger vehicle. (SUV)

She was just released from the hospital late this afternoon. It not a large SUV, but a smaller one. They found the vehicle, but is registered to a woman. A guy was driving from what the she saw. He has not been found yet. I helped her buy it a year ago. Only has about 8000 miles on it.

Wow Ray...sorry to hear about this but glad she is OK. I assume the hospital did a through checkup?
Thankfully she wasn't in a smaller vehicle!!
I'd sue the piss out of those people. :(

Ray I am very glad to hear that your daughter is OK. I am sure that the hospitals major concern was the baby's well being as well as your daughters. My sister was in a similar accident many years ago, her daughter is now 26 yrs old and just got married.
Please let us know how both of them are doing.

So glad she's okay Ray. Scary when you're thousands of miles away and nothing you can do.

She is a little sore, it will take a couple of days I'm sure before she will be able to tell if she has any whip lash. The seats belts tighten down on her and the concern was how tight they got and how much pressure they put on the baby. So far all seems to be ok and the ultrasound looked good on the baby. LIke said they have the vehicle, but not the driver yet.
