I am just amazed with the amount of spammers that attempt to get into this forum. Everyday I am checking many IP addresses and e-mails to verify that anyone who enters this site is an actual person. Sometimes it is very hard to verify that the person is a spammer and I have let a couple in, sorry about that. But in general I have prevented a lot of unwanted solicitation.

I just have to let you know some of the funny things that people do to try to get in. And many times I have to wonder what they were thinking.

I just deleted a person who put as his member name "Texas69" but his e-mail address came up as the Australian Military Police. Then I had a guy who wanted his name as "Mamas1971" but his e-mail was mamas1970. Or the one that gave his name as "Chevyonly" but his email address was Moparman, really ? I have so many everyday and just thought you might get a kick out of a couple of them.

Alot of sites are struggling to keep up with it all. Some are even turning off at night to stop spammers. Thanks for all you do.

I share your pain. That is my job on my van site. There if it is a female and a safari. Look at the signature and 99% of the time it is the dreaded spam sites link selling drugs. 6 months ago it was russian porn sites.
I have had days where by the time I finish banning and disallowing spam I don't have time to read post.
