Virus
 

This is the third time this week I have picked something up. My virus software kicked in tonight while I was on this site. Not saying it's here, but I'm only go to a couple of sites and my email. Back down until Monday till I get my computer looked at again.

Ray, I run Microsoft Securities Essential and Malware Bytes on my PC. Both are free programs and I haven't had a lick of problems since I started using them which has been about almost 4 years now.

I also run Microsoft Security Essentials, on the desktop and 2 laptops. No virus's on any of them. My son works for Quicken Loans. In order to connect his laptop at home to the company network he has to be running Microsoft Security Essentials. I figure they probably checked it out pretty good and if it's good enough for them it should work for me.

Same here...MS Essentials for years. No issues and easy updates.
My wife is the IT Supervisor/Network Admin with a small local company...all running Essentials on their network.

Have a borrowed computer until they rebuild or replace my old machine. Had to totally rebuild my computer
