Any Thing Good for Christmas?

Small Christmas for the wife and I, but the kids and grandchildren did well this year. Our present was just having the kids home for Christmas this year.

Did well today for my Birthday. Got the Milwaukee battery power tool set up with a drill, impact driver, blower and skill saw set up.

My son scored big. Killed me tho. Assembling thousands of lego pieces.
I guess the van motor counts as mine. It showed up the day before.

It is in now. Trans hooked up and starter. Valve covers, intake TBI. Once I get the engine complete I am re-building the power steering unit while the front is off. drastically makes it easier. It has leaked at the input shaft the last few years.

Then back to the chev.

Our Christmas was a little different this year. First time our daughter wasn't here for Christmas. We had a nice day but it just wasn't the same.

I said I wanted a new handgun so my present from the wife and kids was to pick out a gun, some ammo and a range bag. I also got a round, wheeled mechanics stool for the garage, had to give my son his when he moved. Wife got jewelry as usual and our son made out big. It was easy buying for him since he has his own house now. Couldn't really buy much for our daughter. Having things shipped to her and having them sit out front of the apartment building isn't a good idea. She'll have to decide what she wants and we'll pay for it. Lynda did stuff a box full of small stuff, stocking stuffers, so she would have something to open Christmas day.

What did you chose??

Spent the holiday with both of our kids and their clan...we did the traveling this year. Years past, they all crashed at our house for a week.
Christmas day at our son's house with daughter-in-law and two grand daughters.
Then flew to Louisiana on Friday to visit our daughter, son-in-law and three grand kids.
Got home late last night.

I got a Fire HD...going to replace the Nook I've carried around for 4-5 years now.

Ray, sounds like the "project manager" has a ulterior motive with those tools.

He's going to be working oneway or the other, might as well have some nice tools. I got a Rigid compact drill, impact driver and multi tool last year for Christmas. The compact sets with lithium ion batteries are so nice. Plenty of power but small and light weight. You'll love working with them Ray.

I got a Optima battery for the Chevelle as my 12 year old ACDELCO just gave out when I put the car away.

Thanks, I hope so. I read plenty of reviews, even guys on the Glock forum said it was a good gun and they can be like Corvette guys.

An Optima? Those are for ATVs and off road vehicles, where do you plan on driving that Chevelle? J/K Okay, so what are you really going to get/buy yourself for Christmas?
