68 rear valance color
 

Im just about ready to paint my 68 Malibu. My painter needs to know what i want to do with the rear valance area between the taillights. I know it is supposed to be blacked out on a SS, but what about a Malibu? He seems to think it should be silver, but i think in 68 it was body color.

Im pretty sure mine was body color ,sold it a while back though .It would look good either way .

My 3 I had were all body colored from the factory. My 69 was also.

Just a Malibu is painted same color as the car. The SS and Malibu SS are painted black.
