Went and got a "smart" phone yesterday. I have never been so aggravated by anything as much as I am with this thing. I HATE it. It may go back tomorrow. I'll relax a little and try again. The bastards don't even give you a user manual with it.

Sounds like me about 5 yrs ago. Came within a quick blink from launching the thing out the truck window at 70 mph.
Now, I couldn't live without my iPhone.
Yes, frustrating at first but the learning curve is a short one.

Agee, doesn't take much time to learn. Just ask a 4 year these days. Lol... My 15 month old grand daughter watches video on my daughters already. Knows how to tun it on and swipe already to get to where the pictures are. Unbelievable.

Well, I can answer it when it makes the noise that says I have a call. Tried texting, but the thing that makes up words was driving me nuts. Kathy went online and got that stupid thing shut off. The online instructions assume that I know what all this shit means. I haven't a clue yet.

I was almost there too Bill. Was about to smash it when Kathy took it away from me.

Ray, I'll see if one of the neighbors kids will give me some help with it. I'm pretty sure they will know how it works.

Ask Kathy if she can take some videos of you trying to use your phone, I'd love to see them.

You'll get use to it Tony then you'll be glad you got it. Texting on mine is so easy. Type one or two letters and it pops up several words to choose from. Select one of them and it pops up a list of what the next word could be. I can send a complete sentence without spelling out one complete word. Hang in there, it's a brave new world.

What kind of phone did you get?

Complete sentences and spell words it does. This is why we have a generation that can not spell. It's amazing how many kids can't spell or do basic math. They don't exercise their brains anyone.
