I'm facing a big decision.

Seeing as we are supposed to get another foot of snow the next couple of days,a real problem is underfoot. I have not owned a pair of boots for over 20 years and the Reeboks ain't cutting it in this snow. I was maybe going to get a pair of hi-top sneakers? Any suggestions for boots, that wont hurt my feet?:)

Red Wings are nice, but they are tough to break in. Once you break them in, they are the best. For the price, however, I like Wolverines. I had a pair that did well for me for over 10 years. They still look good, have plenty of tread, but my feet are starting to get wet.

Since this is a major decision I really suggest you seek professional advice. I mean do you really want to trust us regarding something this important?

If you do, well it's one snowfall, slip some plastic bags over your shoes and deal with it.

At this point I'm looking at all my options.

I keep 3 new pairs in stock at all times. Then they are rotated at 3 month intervals. New pair put in to every day service and the pair they replaced are used locally and around the house. The oldest pair is on lawn and car wash duty. When I am down to one new pair in the closet,I order two more pair.:)

Carolina makes a nice wedge sole boot that has a cushion insole. Made in AMERICA too! They are all I wear, day in and day out. I save my old ones for spares.
