Dodged a Bullet
 

I was about to make the ultimate "man-rifice" for Valentine's Day.

I was supposed to be headed out to accompany the Mrs. to go see Mamma Mia downtown.

She got the tickets for Christmas.

I hate plays
I hate musicals
I hate Abba
I hated the fact that it didn't even start until 8 PM (usually in bed by 9:30 get up at 5)
I already watched the movie with her several times

And I figured if i was REALLY lucky, I'd get to listen to the soundtrack that she just HAD to buy all the way home.

But I was doing it for her. Hell, it's Valentine's Day, right? ( and because it is worth several Wifely "atta boys". Chevelle needs some stuff)

I was ordered to take my son's car for an oil change before he headed back to College tomorrow, pick up a few things on the way back and before it got too late.

When I got home there was a note:

Took the dogs for a walk...

Missed the play...tickets were for the matinee.

I am very upset that I never checked the tickets.


I fell to my knees and yelled, "There is a God!"

Good thing I bought a card and candy :cool:

So the question of the day is do I buy more tickets...NAW!

I like ABBA. Too bad we're not closer Fred,I would take her to the show.Waving

Of course you would have to walk my dogs.

I'm going with Fred on this one, you guy's can have ABBA.
