Man,am I happy!!!!
Probably not a big deal to some, but they came and put my storage building up today in the back yard. Now I can start this winter on making my 2 and1/2 car garage the way it should be for The Black Car. And the wife doesn't have a van anymore.!!!!!! Even more room!!!

That is definitely something to be happy about. I would love to have another storage building, but that would just mean me getting more crap and I still would have no room to work on anything.

I've been debating getting a small storage shed too... really want to get the bikes, strollers, tricycles, lawn-mower, and snow-blower out of my garage. It's too damn small to begin with, and that crap takes up a lot of valuable space. Trouble is, the house is currently up for sale so I don't want to spend any money on this property.

I'm on the other end of the spectrum here, I think. I have a good sized shed attached to the side of my garage in the back yard that is FULL OF JUNK. I don't think I'd have a problem letting all of it go...seriously, I'd like to pay someone to come with a trailer and take it all to the dump...baby junk, old furniture, used up toys, etc. I think there is a zodiac boat and a motorcycle in there somewhere.
I could store all of my mowers and junk in there, use the other side of the garage for the Chevelle, and keep the main garage bay open/empty. The only access to the garage attic in through the main bay, and when the Chevelle is in there, I can't get into the attic at all. I have needed to get in there on a rainy day...and couldn't because the Chevelle doesn't get rained on. I'd love to have it to where I could pull any of my cars or anything else for that matter into the garage where everything is so I can work on it. Even to do an oil change on one of my DD cars, I have to bring everything out to the carport. |
