Upgrading my interior

Got my car into the shop to finish up the "frame off" restoration I thought I bought.

Replacing dash, dash pad, headliner. Rebuilding all seats with new foam and springs. New steering wheel, mirrors, new stereo.
Basically anything that I can see that is old or non functioning.

This area looks pretty good.

Beautiful car Andy. I replaced my headliner, along with the rest of the interior, last spring. That headliner is a real pain. Those strips along the side that the headliner folds over, GooGone will clean them up. I removed all the strips then wiped the adhesive off using GooGone. I didn't have the rust on the roof to deal with. Keep us posted on how this project goes, good luck.

I took off the headliner strips and had them powder coated. To bad I have to cover them with the headliner:)

The back seats are done. The springs were in pretty good shape but had some surface rust. Powder coated springs look great.

6/7/10 update

Got the new headliner up. New dome lamp and housing. New seat belt clips and Dynamat above the liner.
Sail boards should be done later today. It's nice to see things finally moving in the right direction.

Another seat is done. Love that powder coating on the springs.

I also installed a lumbar support like this one glued to the foam.

Looking very nice. I like the powder coated glue strips. So what did you do about the rust on the inside? Keep us posted on your progress.

Wow, very nice Andy. I thought that was a blood pressure cup on the seat. Ready for the first time you fire it up and your blood pressure goes through the roof from the thrill.
