SS Dash
I keep leaning toward getting an SS dash so it would clean up all the aftermarket gauges we have. Problem is the damn things are so expensive..

I went with Big Tony's replacement dash for $359. Price seemed reasonable to me based on what's going on to make it. I'm only replacing an old SS dash so I don't need to mess with the wire harness.

You could do something custom... Here's mine.

It's hard to do something custom with a 70-72 sweep dash. You do see SS dash's on craigslist now and then. Even if you had to replace parts of it, it would be cheaper than buying everything new.

I have a 72 ss el camino and a 72 malibu convertible so I have one of each dashes, but I like the sweep dash the best. It is easier to see in dark conditions with the sweep dash

I have been seriously considering one of these. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CT...0111/?rtype=10

I also considered a digital dash conversion like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DAKOT...Q5fAccessories but for the sweep dash. The wife did not really care for it.
