Hi, I just thought I'd post a quick introduction and a picture of my 69 SS.
My wife and I enjoy taking this old grocery getter to cruises, shows, etc. We have driven up to the St. Ignace car show several years and also to Woodward dream cruise a few times. This picture was taken last weekend in front of the replica Shell station at Gilmores car museum in Hickory Corners Michigan. I bought it as a basket case in 1998, and did a complete frame off doing everything myself except for painting (although I did the primer) took me 2 1/2 years nights and weekends but was worth every minute of it. From one Michiganer to another "Welcome" Great pic. Myself I'm from Fenton that is over by Flint. Have you heard about the "Back to the Bricks in Flint car cruise in Flint? we have a lot of fun over there and it's only about a 1 hour drive from Lansing. I'm going to try to get a us in as a car club this year so we all can park together. Again, Welcome. |
