Free picture hosting for members

One of my biggest pet peeves is forcing members to host pictures offsite. If they delete their pictures it makes the threads nearly useless.

For the time being chevelleforum members have 25 MB of free picture hosting. Pictures will be limited to about 120kb and 600x800 pixels. That makes for a nice size photo.

Eventually I hope to add a gallery where we can upload some nice ( larger ) size photo of our cars.

Thanks
Grumpy

I was wondering about that.I'm not completely inept with the computer stuff, but posting pictures with Photobucket was a really interesting experience.Thank You.

Cool! I use the "image optimizer" freeware from xat.com to resize my pics, and can usually get them down to around 30k without loosing too much resolution at 600x800

We're going to have something like the TC showroom, but with smaller file size restrictions, for now.

Microsoft has a free PowerToy called ImageResizer that gives you resize options within your right mouse button menu. I really like it.

When you start a post at the bottom it has a Go Advance button. Once you do that you can go under Manage Attachments and you can up load from your computor or from another source.
