OH NO.....

Hope you can get it into the garage. You will find the problem and fix it. Let us know what happened.

My neighbors came over we got him inside. It keeps popping through the carb, and cranking like a car that has a wet cap. Did it jump time?

Grumpy and I were sitting here when I read him your first post and he made the comment that maybe your timing was off, then you post your last post.

Let us know.

Points or HEI set up in the distrubutor?

It sounds like timing, but it could be points.

How can a car jump time after running so great? I don't understand that.....

It has an Accel hei system.

I was driving it nice and easy tonight. It had sat for about a month and fired right up tonight. I am too tired to look at it now,at least it's in the garage.

That would be GOOD KARMA my friend.

Yes,we already thought of that!!!!

I agree it can only be one or the other. Also check the distrubutor bolt to make sure it is tight. If it's not tight your distrubutor can turn screwing up your timing also.
