Balloon season...
 

...has started. These 2 just came over our house. Pics are with a standard lens, not telephoto. We talked to the people in both balloons, didn't have to shout either. They were less than 100' above the house when they went over. There is about 14 open acres 2 blocks over, looks like they came down there.

I thought this was going to be about car lots.:p

We have a lot of hot air balloons around here. We have a Ballon Festival coming next month here. They come over the house all the time.

Howell Balloon Festival is this month. The Michigan Challenge Balloon race is part of it. These 2 are the first I've seen this year. The fly over here quite a bit too. Last year one landed in our street, just a few hundred feet from our house.

My dog freaks out when they are low over our house and you can hear them talking...I don't think I would have engough nerve to ever get in one..they are cool thou.

Our dog runs and barks at them too. As soon as she can hear them she starts running around.

That is so cool. I guess it could be frightening if they were that close to the house.
