I agree, I wish I could find someone to paint my house that was reasonable, a couple years ago I had a company paint my living room and kitchen (18 foot ceiling in the living room and I'm not to wild about heights) and the best quote was $1500 and I pay for paint. Then when the work was done, it was one kid (about 20) that did the painting and it took him 3 full days and I fiqured if they were paying him $20 a hour it cost them $480 to pay him...the rest went for profit for the guy that hired him. While I understand everyone needs to make a profit but that is out of line if you ask me. I rather pay someone who knows how to paint and has the equipment and pay them $50 a hour and they make the extra.
