Kind of on the other end of the spectrum in what's going on in my life now,but my mom at 86 can still kick my butt and she knows it. After my step-father died 3 years ago,I have taken over all of the maintenance on my moms house. The older I get the more of a task it becomes,but I wouldn't have it any other way. I go down there every Wednesday and Sunday. Today,she was worried about me working in the heat,bringing me water and making me take a break to eat. She was complaining about my tan,saying she would'nt recognize me on the street!
And she always mentions how I "tear" out of her house in "that old car of mine"
With what's happening now,it just makes me appreciate mom a little more,and she can nag on me all she wants. Yes mom,I promise to quit smoking............
