I've only walked away from a winning bid once. I knew the auctioneer was bumping me but I wanted the car.He hit the wall one more time and I walked away.When he realized I walked,he went back to my previous bid and put the hammer down.He said sold to Gary,and I said no it ain't.After a "discussion" about my being stupid and just getting in the business
,I did not take the car. They don't want to lose a guy who buys 40-50 cars a month at one sale.
