Sorry guys, yes, extremely busy as of lately.
First of all, my wife and I decided to seperate for awhile. Most likely will turn into a divorce, but we'll see. This happened at the end of Sept, and I've kept it pretty quiet so far. On the one hand it kind of sucks, but on the other hand our lives have improved greatly. We have found that seperate we are much better friends than we are together, which makes for much better parents for my girls. We still do lots of stuff together with my daughters, actually probably even more than we did.
Life has been pretty hectic with that change for sure.
With this, I guess it has basically allowed me to concentrate much more on my business, without the distraction of an unhappy marriage, and business is absolutely booming lately. I've been working normally 12 hour days, to keep up, and took today off to catch up on paperwork finally. I've been working typically 5 am to 5 pm and then go see my girls and tuck them into bed at 8pm, then get home, eat quick, workout, and go to bed, and repeat the cycle.
I didnt say anything to anyone because I dont want and am not looking for sympathy or "Im sorry to hear thats", and I dont need to be lectured either about this. It was pretty much a joint agreement by us, and again, it has made us both happier people. After 11 years, we both have changed a lot, and really probably are not the best match for each other anymore. I know for me personally, after seeing my parents pass away at a reletively young age (59 and 60), what I want and need in a spouse now, is completely diffrent than I wanted or needed 11 years ago. I live a very healthy, very active lifestyle, running and cycling and weight lifting daily, and my wife just isnt in to it. Shes more of a downer type of person, and thats fine for her, but our lifestyles just dont match well anymore. We both understand it very well.
Thanks for your concerns, I appreciate knowing you guys are thinking about me. I've had some rough days, but have many, many more really good days now. Life is on a much more positive course.
I'll try to get more time to hang out with you guys again, with winter coming I suspect work will slow down to a more managable level. Heck, I havent driven my chevelle in over 2 months now with how busy I've been, and of course, driving season is about to end. Although the forecast is calling for almost 60 degrees early next week, might make it a short work day and take one last good cruise.
