Another story of how government is controlling our lives.Friday was supposed to be our opening day at the new store.I was in charge of getting all the cars moved 2 miles to the new place.5 hours and 100 cars later,an inspector came and said we were not in compliance with the local code,being an exit was not in the proper place.Now this can be corrected by morning and this is a first class operation,not juniors used car lot.The jerk didn't want to hear anything and told us if we conducted business tomorrow we would be fined by the township and the state could revoke our license for operating illegally.
Oh yeah,the inspector can't come back until Tuesday.
I think I was more upset than the owner,who was pretty calm.He told me to let the other guys worry about getting the cars back to the old place,and we went to have a few drinks together.
