Rich, first off you don't say transmission you have for looking for the numbers. An automatic should have a tag on it and a muncie 4 speed it should be on the side of the case. The rear end number is located on the right inside axle tube toward the center. I have seen some on the left also. The running gear is a package so knowing more about the car would help.
