ok i need your opinion on my seats
ok i am on a tight budget like 90% of you guys on here. so i was writing out all of my plans for my car and what i wanted and what i needed. So today my wife and i went out after church and we wanted to go pumpkin picking with the family and we had about an hour to kill. we took a trip to sonic for some slushies and a advance auto parts store was there. i said perfect i need some paint. we walked in and my wife pointed out something. i looked and it was seat covers she says to me "i know you really want to do other things to your car why not just buy these seat covers for now and focus on getting the car road worthy?" i looked at her and thought about it and i said "i have to think about that."
so my question to you guys is should i buy those seat covers for now? the cost of the seat covers for front and back was $45. and here is the list of what i need to get my car on the road:
posi unit in the rear (currently a spool rear)
rear gears (currently 4.11)
sending unit
fuel line
brakes (rear drum rebuild and front disc replace and rebuild)
exhaust system from the header back
dash harness
engine harness
front light harness
inner fender
battery tray
battery
so i ask are those other things more important to get finish and then do the seat? or buy the seat and do it while i am working on the interior?
goal is for june of 2012 to have the chevelle on the road and at the rate i am going per month i am putting aside $300 for parts so what do you think?
