I remember having a 454 in my 1972 Suburban, that was in 1982. I think I got 5 miles to the gallon.
If I was lucky. But it was a great cruising vehicle, all my girlfriends would load into it and we would go "Cruising" the local strip. Lots of fun were had in that truck.
