Yikes. I see a lot of overpriced junk.

I am fixing a few cosmetic things on my 1996 Silverado, and was looking around online today so that I could put a fair price on it. (I need something with better fuel mileage - otherwise I wouldn't sell it) It looks like I need to up my asking price by at least $1000. Even after I sell it, I am highly concerned about finding a good car in my price range. Did cash for clunkers really have this much of an impact on the used car market? I know several people that either work for a dealership, or own a small dealership. They all say the same thing - they have a hard time finding good stuff to put on the used lot to keep it full.
I am only speaking for a 200-300 mile radius of where I am in Central Florida. But, I remember so much more being available even a year or two ago.
