It's not a worn switch. I thought of that. I have the key to my '61 Bel Air. That key didn't work at all.

I tried the doors, it doesn't work in them and the trunk is a different key. I know at some point the dash was changed to an A/C dash, so I guess they put the ignition switch in from the A/C car. I still think it's cool, though.
