Not too weird. I'm putting manifolds on my '64 too.
Today I got my solid mounts made. 20 years ago, I had Moroso solid mounts. I could NOT find mounts that work. The ones that they said were for the car were too short and I couldn't get the through bolts in.
I used cold rolled 3/16" steel plate. (like the aftermarket mounts) they came out decent enough. They fit perfect, so I can't complain a whole lot.
