A friend of mine moved to North Carolina today. (he will be missed) Anyway, he gave me his 10' long workbench so he didn't have to take it with him. It took me two days to clear out a spot for it, move it in and load it back up with a bunch of crap.
Today I reinforced the middle of it so I could mount my vise on it. I also mounted my bench grinder and set up my man cave tunes.
I built a drive shaft today and it was nice to have the whole thing supported instead of trying to hold up the end of the drive shaft like I had to with my old 3' bench.
Oh, ...and I bought his parts washer off of him too. I'm suffering from 10 pounds of crap in a five pound pail, but the extra storage space makes it bearable.
