Thanks, welcome to my thread. What kind of powerplant you rockin' in your 70?

Oh, almost forgot to mention this; as far as I know the car is a true SS, the 396 I used to have in it was not the original motor tho -helped make the decision to go with a 454 which is the motor I desired all along alot easier. That and we all know how much original LS5's and 6's will set you back.

The paint on the car is basically a spray paint special that was slapped over the body to help preserve it, the trunk is solid (no rust) and the frame is in damn fine shape. Its a convertaed automatic (T400) from the original 4 speed. The doors are very solid (no play at all in them when you open them up and letem hang) -there is some bondo on the car here and there but nothing out of character for a car its age. As far as the research I have done as combined with the previous owner (I am technically the 3rd owner of the car) the car spent a good portion of its life on the west coast, and was built in the ATL plant. It was originally a red car with black pins.

I've owned this car for the better part of a decade now and I will confess that due to some financial constraints I don't drive it as much as I would like to, so yeah, currently she sits on a throne and wears a crown in my garage (I live in the Chicago land area tho so this really isn't the best time to drive it anyways, but I digress).
