A guy came up in the beginning of January and put a $100 down on my '61 Bel Air. He hasn't come back for the car so that deposit, (as per my stipulations to him) is now mine and I sold the car to someone else.
I'm all for helping a guy out, but holding a car for a month on a $100 deposit is as far as I'm willing to go. Especially when two people walked up a few days later with cash in their hands and I turned them away.
I even tried to e mail the guy a couple times and he never got back with me.
Oh well. His loss, my gain.
