With a stock height suspension, a BFG in 245/60-15 should fit on all 4 corners of your '72.
I have 235/60-15 front and 275/60-15 rear BFG TA's on '71/72 SS 5 spoke wheels on my '72 wagon.
With 2" dropped spindles, the fronts rub slightly on tight turns.
