I just started working for a used car lot.
For now, it's part time, but he wants me to take over the shop eventually and run it as manager. In the mean time, I'm keeping my shop open and getting some promised projects out the door. I'm kind of facing the same situation but with a different perspective.
I literally worked myself into the hospital when I was in my 20's. About two weeks before I collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, my dad told me, "If you don't slow down, your body is going to find a way to MAKE you slow down." I was working over 100 hours per week and clearing about $2,500/week. Looking back, no amount of money was worth the time and health I lost.
My suggestion is to proceed with caution from here.
