For a little while now I've been looking for someone to either rebuild the TH350 that came in the car or maybe use a different one and it's slowed the process down on the car because I want to put the body on the new frame before we finish welding the quarters and rocker panel on so it's not out of alignment and I don't want to put the body on until the motor, trans, and exhaust is all in/on. Well tonight I ran across a 700R4 that was in a guy I know wifes 68 firebird that he had just finish building for her and the car shifted to hard for her liking so he swaped it out for a stock 350. The trans was just rebuilt with a TCI shift kit, new torque converter, lock-up kit and I got to ride in the car so I know it works well. He wanted it out of his way in the garage and said to come get it for $200!!! I told him I'd be there ASAP!!! So hopefully this week I can get started on putting that stuff in.
