Rattle cans. It's hard to do it this way under the car on your back and it seems like you get a lot of overspray settling on the top areas. I did a complete 67 Corvette frame back around 1983 with rattle cans and it came out really beautiful, nice and even but that car I had removed the frame totally sandblasted it and used a Rust Oleum paint. I bought this car site unseen and was told it was a frame off even showed pictures and was advertised that way. It was pretty clean but was no frame off. It's probably as close to frame off as it can get now but I personally would never try to convince someone it was. It definitely was worth the effort and I'm pleased the way it came out. After doing all the painting I found out there was still no way I could get a new prebent gas line in even though I had cut it about in the middle to run an inline fuel filter and ended up jacking the car up off the frame one side at a time and then put the new gas line in and replaced all the body mount bushings also. There is another thread on this that I posted. The car is slowly getting put back together now and should come out pretty decent when it's done.
