I listened to the radio interviews on U tube and Mr Sitton purchased the car from someone in the town he lives in. He only got a bill of sale and no title. Now somehow he found out that the title said that Mr White's name was on the title as well as Mr White's son. He paid 5k for the car and said that he does not believe that he is in possession of stolen property. He does not know if he should give the car back.
The DJ kept asking him why he never transfered the title. Mr Sitton said it is not uncommon for people in the classic car community NOT to transfer the title if they can't drive it.
This guy new what he was doing. He got a 1 of 4 Cuda packages of this car sold of this particular model for that year. Think about it, a restored Cuda of this year can go for 70k-110k.
