I liked that. Especially the part where he said the 427 wasn't on any order form. But could be had in anything if you knew who to ask.

That was the way it was back then. You could have anything you wanted. If you knew what was available and had the money and just ask.

Blowing them out of the water on the "I am a expert" thing when all they are looking at is the order forms.

My neighbor across the street worked on the line at chevrolet building camaros and firebirds. And many many cars were pulled off the line and had things done that makes cars fakes or clones to according to the "Experts" right in the factory.

They are rewriting history instead of accepting what it really was. But it is all about making money to them. In the guise of preserving the heritage.
