That helped. There is a universal lookup and a slightly different one for the 67. Everything matches now except your G which should be a 7 for 1967, and the B should be a production count number. A 1 or a 2 because the ran out of numbers. L is saying build in Van Nuys.
The rest is lining up correctly.. Malibu 6 cylinder 2 dr sport coupe.
They are saying it could have been stamped at the dealer. Vin plate was not attached when it arrived. But also state this was rare.
The Canadian lookup only goes to the 13517 and the rest is in limbo. No definite rules after that. Probably the dealer stamping and put it on deal.
So I am not god but it looks like a chevelle vin to me with 2 letters where numbers belong for whatever reason.
There are exceptions mentioned to the stamping of the vin other than from the plant. But after that it is very vague why and mumble mumble stuff. They don't know is what that means. But they do know something outside god(Maker of the rulebook writen decades after the fact) and his classification was going on.
